Chocolate Mug Cake
This chocolate mug cake hits the spot when I’m craving something sweet at the end of the day. It’s moist, rich and delicious. And it comes together super quickly with pantry staples that you probably already have on hand.
Just add your dry ingredients straight into the mug you’re using and get them all mixed up. No need to dirty a bunch of dishes! Then mix in your milk and oil until it’s all combined. Add your chocolate chips to the top and pop it right in the microwave!
The timing is key to this recipe and it may take you a few attempts to get it just like you like it. I like mine a little gooey in the center, so in my microwave that takes 60 seconds. All microwaves vary a little, so you’ll just have to play around with yours.
Let it cool just a minute, because the center will be molten lava! And you must add a dollop of whipped cream to the top; it’s a requirement!
The end result is simple perfection- fudgy, gooey and delicious! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
