Chocolate Chess Pie
Fudgy, creamy, sweet and delicious, this chocolate chess pie is simple to make, and the hit of any holiday event!

- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 stick butter
- 2 ounces baking chocolate *I use Baker's unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 dash salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a microwavable bowl, add butter and chocolate.
Microwave for 1 minute, stir well. If mixture is not completely melted, continue microwaving in 30 second increments, stirring in between.
Once butter and chocolate are melted and combined, set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, combine sugar and eggs until smooth. Add vanilla and salt, stir well.
Slowly add cooled chocolate mixture to sugar and egg mixture. Stir until smooth.
Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, until center of pie is set.
Let cool completely. Enjoy!
